Waste Disposal Management Model in Intermediate Cities (Case Study: Rudbar City)

The purpose of this study is to present a model for waste disposal management in intermediate cities (Rodbar). The research method is mixed (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population of the quantitative section includes citizens and shopkeepers of the city of Rodbar, 384 of whom were selected by a random sampling method. The analysis of information in the qualitative section is based on the coding method and in the quantitative section is based on the structural equation approach using the Smart PLS3 statistical software. The findings show that five factors: waste separation management, government sector management and support, public awareness management, specific awareness management, and mechanization of waste disposal systems have an impact on waste disposal management, of which the highest level of impact is related to mechanization of waste disposal systems and the lowest level of impact is related to awareness management. Based on the findings, it can be said that through the establishment of mechanized systems and the development of machinery in waste disposal, a favorable environment can be provided for waste disposal management in the city of Rodbar. |
